Communications & Marketing Intern

Do you love writing, working with technology and making your mark in a fast-paced business environment? The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) is offering a fun and valuable internship to a motivated, self-starter with excellent writing and people skills. The Communications & Marketing Intern will write for various audiences, assist with social media for the Society, send marketing emails and help manage OSCPA’s website, www.w3t.surgeonsi.net.

This is a part-time, paid internship. The ideal candidate will be a journalism or communications major or enrolled in a related course of study, with experience or interest in writing about and becoming a thought leader in the business world.

Position Responsibilities

  • Report on news of interest to members for publication on OSCPA channels, including www.w3t.surgeonsi.net and the Society’s email newsletters.
  • Assist with social media planning and posting
  • Send news and marketing emails to members.
  • Gather and size art for e-newsletter
  • Upload news and make minor edits to our website
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or graduated with major in English, Marketing, Communications, or related experience
  • Ability to work 20 hours per week virtually through November
  • Desire to learn new things, develop skills, and grow
  • Positive attitude
  • Must love dogs and have a sense of humor!
